Formentera mud baths

Mud baths are widely known for their properties on the skin, you only need to apply it over the body and let it dry for a while under the sunlight.

There are two different types of muds baths in Formentera. The first one is the liquid mud en Espalmador, where you can immerse yourself in it and don’t need to scrub your skin.

However, mud baths are prohibited, as the island of Espalmador is protected within the Ses Salines Natural Park of Ibiza and Formentera and the habitat of some species could be altered.

Another type of mud you will find in the Cala Saona´s wall cliffs, this mud you should moisture with the water of the sea and apply it directly to your skin.
